We are seeking a Sr. Paralegal for our client, a mid-sized law firm located in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves providing support to firm attorneys by conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and preparing for trials. This role will also require the use of various software applications and management systems to efficiently manage and organize case files. Responsibilities:
Conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation
Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, and contracts
Assisting in discovery process by preparing discovery requests and responses
Preparing for trial by organizing exhibits, assisting with witness preparation, and handling other necessary tasks
Utilizing case management software to manage and organize case files effectively
Handling complaints and claim administration processes
Preparing and maintaining detailed case documentation
Utilizing software applications like Adobe Acrobat, LexisNexis, and Microsoft Excel for various tasks
Assisting in the management of client relationships and communication.
Must have at least 5 years of experience in a paralegal role, preferably in a professional services setting.
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, and Case Management Software.
Extensive knowledge and experience with LexisNexis and other legal research platforms.
Expertise in using Management Systems to organize and manage legal information.
Strong skills in drafting contracts and other legal documents.
Demonstrated experience in claim administration and complaint handling.
Excellent briefing skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal information.
Proven track record in thorough documentation, ensuring all legal procedures are accurately recorded.
Must possess a high degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field is required, a Paralegal certification is a plus.
Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
