Partnering with Senior Management to be a hands-on leader in all aspects of manufacturing accounting for the production plan to include financial reporting, analysis and modeling of raw materials, plant budget development and working as the liaison between production and management on various projects and initiatives. Key Responsibilities:• Costing of raw materials that are inputs for black carbon. Build financial models that track, and accurately reflect costs of raw materials in all stages of production (raw materials, work in process, finished goods).• Analysis of labor costs, maintenance and all indirect costs associated with production.• Management reporting for all materials by location.• Monthly and Quarterly financial statement package for plant location.• Management of 1 to 2 staff accountants.• Creating more efficient processes for manufacturing accounting team. Role Requirements:• Manufacturing accounting experience/strong background in cost analysis • Adaptable to a start-up environment where key requirement is process design and improvement where there are a lot of manual processes and disparate systems in place.• Advanced Excel capabilities: pivot tables, look-ups, advanced formulas. • Ability to partner with various teams and gain consensus, production, senior management and staff level accounting and finance teams.
