Our reputable client is seeking a Director of Finance to join the company. The director of finance must have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills in order to be a part of the management team. This may be the role for you if you are an experienced VP/Director of Finance looking for a challenging role at an established company.Your responsibilities- Develop five-year business plans with department managers- Suggest benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance- Oversee the preparation of financial forecasts and outlooks- Manage the hiring, training, and retention of finance staff- Supervise all financial reporting preparation- Manage daily operations of the finance and accounting department- Aid in developing department goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures- Direct, review, and prepare budget management and financial planning functions- Perform financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget- Ensure adherence to budgetary reporting requirements, including local, state, and federal- Oversee insurance and risk management- Implement and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives- Maintains and reviews budgeting and forecasting models
