We are seeking a highly organized and personable individual to join our dental practice as a Front Office Administrator. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing administrative tasks. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office.Responsibilities:Patient Reception: Greet patients warmly as they arrive, check them in for appointments, and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.Appointment Scheduling: Manage the appointment calendar effectively, scheduling patient appointments and follow-up visits to optimize the dentist's time.Billing and Insurance: Handle patient billing, process insurance claims, and assist patients with understanding their insurance coverage and financial responsibilities.Phone and Email Communication: Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally, addressing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing information as needed.Patient Records Management: Maintain accurate patient records, including personal information, medical history, treatment plans, and insurance details, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.Office Organization: Keep the reception area and front desk tidy and organized, restocking supplies as needed, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for patients.Coordination with Clinical Staff: Collaborate closely with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient flow and timely communication regarding scheduling changes or patient needs.Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and managing office correspondence, to support the overall functioning of the dental practice.Requirements:Experience: Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is preferred but not required.
