Description
We are offering an opportunity in the Aerospace industry located in Stockton, California, for a Data Reporting Analyst. The role will involve gathering and analyzing data, creating reports using SQL queries, and presenting findings in a user-friendly format. This position provides a chance to work in a dynamic environment where you can utilize and further develop your skills in Business Intelligence, Database Management, and Data Analysis.
Responsibilities:
Gather report requirements from internal teams and translate them into SQL queries
Develop comprehensive reports using SQL queries on various databases
Create user-friendly reports in formats such as tables and charts for Supervisors, HR, and management
Leverage knowledge of report writing tools like Access or Crystal Reports to produce high-quality reports
Maintain meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills to ensure data accuracy
Utilize BusinessObjects Technologies to create dashboards and visual data representations
Conduct AB Testing to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of data processes
Leverage ETL - Extract Transform Load methodologies for data management
Use Microsoft and Microsoft Word to document and communicate data findings and insights
Develop Business Requirement Documents to guide the data management and reporting process.
Requirements
Experience in the Aerospace industry is required
Proficiency with BusinessObjects Technologies
Familiarity with Database management and operation
Knowledge and experience with EO/IR systems
Proficiency in Microsoft software, including Microsoft Word
Experience with AB Testing is a plus
Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) principles and practices
Ability to create Business Requirement Documents
Experience in creating Dashboards for data visualization
Strong Data Analysis skills
Familiarity with ETL - Extract, Transform, Load processes
Proficiency in writing and executing SQL Queries
Able to work in a team environment
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred
