Position Overview:We are seeking a talented and experienced Corporate/Transactional General Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support to our client on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on a wide range of corporate and transactional matters, including but not limited to mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, compliance, contracts, and commercial transactions.Responsibilities:Provide legal counsel and guidance on corporate governance matters, including board matters, corporate policies, and regulatory compliance.Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and agreements, including commercial contracts, vendor agreements, and partnership agreements.Assist in due diligence efforts for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify legal risks and develop strategies for mitigation.Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments affecting the company's operations.Manage relationships with external legal counsel and other third-party advisors as needed.
