The successful candidate will develop and implement robust policies and procedures, oversee month-end close processes, handle all financial reporting, and serve as a trusted business partner to the owner.Key Responsibilities:Develop comprehensive accounting policies and procedures to streamline operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Establish a month-end close schedule and lead the execution of timely and accurate financial reporting.Oversee the creation and maintenance of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Organize and allocate Common Area Maintenance (CAM) charges to tenants where appropriate.Manage Work-In-Progress (WIP) reporting for the development department.Manage the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads and executive leadership.Provide strategic financial guidance to the owner, offering insights and recommendations to drive business growth and profitability.Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as operations, human resources, and legal to support business objectives and initiatives.Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
