Robert Half is looking for an experienced Collections Specialist with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail. This short-term contract / temporary role will start off in office then transition to fully remote. Your responsibilities
- Update customer files to ensure data integrity
- Head all billing and reporting activities in response to deadlines
- Take care of inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence
- Yield to all Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act rules and regulations
- Act as mediator in maintaining quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries
- Record all customer payments to the correct reports
- Ensure payments are processed
- Locate delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, phone contact, written correspondence, and make arrangements for payment
