Robert Half is partnering with a financial services organization in the recruiting for a Collections Specialist to join their team. The Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing a portfolio of delinquent accounts and implementing strategies to recover outstanding balances while maintaining positive customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of collections procedures, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients at the same time. Seeking more a relationship builder than a hard nosed collections background! This is permanent placement opportunity offering competitive pay and benefits as well a hybrid schedule after training.Responsibilities:Contact delinquent account holders via phone, email, and mail to negotiate payment arrangements and resolve outstanding balances.Document all collection efforts and account status updates in the company's database.Work closely with senior Collections Specialist for escalation.Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to collections activities.Analyze delinquency trends and recommend strategies to minimize future defaults.Assist in the development of collection policies and procedures to enhance department efficiency and effectiveness.
