We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the manufacturing industry, located in Anaheim, California. This role will be 100% onsite and will involve both customer service and technical aspects, particularly in handling accounts receivable and collections. Responsibilities: • Reach out to customers for collections, primarily homeowners, for amounts not covered by insurance. • Handle both collections and accounts receivable tasks in a balanced manner. • Make a substantial number of calls per day, maintaining efficient and a customer service-oriented approach. • Navigate through specialized software such as QuickBooks Enterprise and Dash for account management and record keeping. • Address customer inquiries and disputes, escalating to legal if necessary. • Set up draw schedules as part of the collections process. • Apply skills in 'Collections - Consumer', 'Accounts Receivable (AR)', 'QuickBooks Enterprise', 'Liens', and 'Cash Applications' to effectively perform job functions. • Maintain a detail oriented demeanor in a corporate/construction environment, adhering to the company's uniform policy. • Manage credit applications and records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. • Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.
