We are seeking a King of Prussia, Pennsylvania Systems Engineer for an immediate opportunity through Robert Half. This Systems Engineer position is a key contributor to the maintenance and optimization of the client's network and wireless infrastructure. This is a long-term contract / temporary opportunity. You'll want to apply for this fantastic opportunity as soon as you can!Key responsibilities- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems- Support redundancy strategies, security, and backup- Write down and keep up custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks- Maintain, configure, install, and test system management tools, operating systems, and application software- Handle and check all installed systems and infrastructure- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support- Check and examine application performance for potential bottlenecks, name possible solutions, and operate with developers to apply those fixes- Effectively guarantee the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
