The role involves supervising accounting functions and teams, performing month-end close, recording journal entries, preparing annual tax returns and ensuring timely and accurate filing of all tax-related documents, among other responsibilities. Responsibilities:• Supervise accounting functions and team, ensuring efficient and effective operations.• Execute month-end close processes and record journal entries to maintain accuracy and timeliness of financial data.• Manage financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including preparation of reports for upper management and analysis of accounts.• Prepare annual tax returns and ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax-related documents; collaborate with outside accountants and auditors as necessary.• Monitor and maintain cash balances and ensure bank reconciliations are completed in a timely manner.• Monitor customer credit and manage customer relationships to ensure timely payments.• Oversee the administration of various benefit programs such as HSA, FSA, Health Insurance Renewal.• Process executive payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.• Oversee the administration of the 401k plan, ensuring all processes are completed in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.• Prepare and submit government surveys and census data requests as required.• Maintain the company credit card program, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.• Perform calculations and analysis of overhead costs/product costs.• Manage recordkeeping of sales commissions, sales order reports/analysis, and sales tax returns.• Maintain corporate records and annual board of director meeting minutes, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
