Apply today with Robert Half—don't hesitate!Key responsibilities- Handle general accounting tasks: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects- Carry out additional related duties and help with special projects on an as-needed basis- Handle Accounts Receivable tasks: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance- Accurately code documents with expenditure codes and accounting codes- Use various methods to add financial information to journals and ledgers- Reconcile discrepancies by examining possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as needed- Produce statements and reports using a variety of sources- Support accounts payable by filing vendor invoice and disbursements and by matching & filing A/P invoices
