DescriptionWe are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in Deer Park, Texas. The role involves leveraging technological solutions to improve business efficiency and reduce IT costs. The Business Analyst will design or redesign technical solutions to solve specific business problems, supervise development and integration processes, and play a vital role in change management to ensure successful execution of planned projects.
Responsibilities
  • Identify, refine, and validate complex business requirements, interdependencies, and potential risks and issues related to technology projects.
  • Evaluate and document technical specifications and user and business requirements, maintaining accuracy and timeliness of this documentation.
  • Facilitate effective communication between business units to ensure alignment of business strategies and technology solutions.
  • Conduct post-implementation research to determine the usage of new solutions and recommend improvements.
  • Strategize how and where to improve technologically to increase business efficiency and reduce IT costs.
  • Supervise development and integration processes related to technological improvements.
  • Assume a frontline role in change management to help ensure planned projects are successfully executed.
  • Design or redesign technical solutions to address specific business problems.
  • Leverage your skills in Business Analysis to drive business efficiency and reduce IT costs.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
  • Strong understanding of business analysis principles
  • Proficiency in relevant analysis tools and software
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of business needs and ability to translate them into technical requirements
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Strong knowledge of market trends and industry best practices
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure
  • Willingness to continue learning and improving
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
