4. Cost Control:

- Implement and monitor cost control measures to ensure expenses align with budgetary constraints.

- Review and approve financial transactions to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.

5. Forecasting:

- Develop financial forecasts to assist hospital leadership in making informed decisions about resource allocation.

- Analyze and project future revenue and expenses.

6. Compliance and Regulation:

- Ensure that budgetary and financial practices adhere to regulatory and compliance standards specific to the healthcare industry.

- Stay up-to-date with changes in healthcare finance regulations and adjust practices accordingly.

- Identify process gaps and develop and document go-forward processes.

7. Financial Reporting:

- Prepare and present financial reports, presentations, and recommendations to hospital executives and the board of directors.

- Assist with annual audits and financial statement preparations.

8. Strategic Planning:

- Collaborate with hospital leadership to align budgeting strategies with the hospital's long-term strategic goals.

- Participate in strategic planning activities related to financial management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field (Master's degree is often preferred).

- Relevant work experience in budget analysis, financial planning, or healthcare finance.

- Strong knowledge of healthcare finance regulations and compliance requirements.

- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, budgeting software, financial modeling).
