This short-term contract / contract employment opportunity is based in the Downers Grove, Illinois area.Key responsibilities- Be actively engaged to achieve the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability- Administer and control all installed systems and infrastructure- Maintain, test, configure, and install application software, operating systems, and system management tools- Type and continue custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks- Operate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution- Play a part in the design of information and operational support systems- Retain redundancy strategies, backup, and security- Review and check application performance for potential bottlenecks, distinguish possible solutions, and do business with developers to execute those fixes- Submit 2nd and 3rd level support
