Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a strong Assistant Controller to support our global real estate client on a 9-10 month hybrid engagement beginning immediately in Los Angeles. In addition to strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently, the Assistant Controller must possess the following skills:• Experience in PeopleSoft, including booking, approving and retrieving journal entries and running/modifying queries.• Excellent Excel skills (i.e. VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, large data)• Experience with multicurrency, FX rates, revaluation and translation processes, and how FX impacts financial statements.• Deep experience with US GAAP• Experience working with international teams• Experience overseeing month/quarter/year-end closes, including consolidation and review of various reports.• Strong experience in system implementations and process enhancement/streamlining projects.• Experience managing direct and indirect reports, both local and international.• Experience being liaise with internal and external auditors.• Exposure to Investment Management, PE firm or Real Estate industryPreferred Skills:• Experience liaising with SEC Reporting and Corporate Consolidation Teams• Experience with OneStream and/or TM1
