This organization is experiencing incredible growth and is in need of a construction Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist. We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Construction/Contractor industry. The role will be based in EL CAJON, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling accounts receivable, generating reports, creating invoices, and managing contracts. This is an on-site, immediate, contract or contract-to-hire opportunity. You will be partnering with the team's Bookkeeper to handle all aspects of project Accounts Receivable and Billing. The ideal candidate will have previous industry experience, and understand project billing. Responsibilities include:• Managing accounts receivable and ensuring contracts are billed accurately and timely• Generating aging reports to track outstanding accounts• Creating invoices for projects and deliveries• Setting up new jobs in the system to ensure payment terms and contract completion• Conducting preliminary work for contracts and ensuring insurance certifications are in place• Following up on outstanding accounts and conducting light collections tasks• Handling up to 30 active contracts at a given time• Utilizing software systems such as Excel, Procure, Textura, and QuickBooks to manage accounting functions and billing procedures.
