We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the Construction/Contractor industry. This role will be based in North Charleston, South Carolina. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be crucial in maintaining the financial health of our operations, with key responsibilities including handling credit card payments, accounts receivable, and assisting with payroll and accounts payable tasks.Responsibilities:• Handle credit card payments from clients and maintain accurate records of transactions• Oversee accounts receivable and collections efforts to ensure timely payments• Assist with payroll administration to ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time• Provide support with accounts payable tasks, ensuring all vendor invoices are processed and paid in a timely manner• Utilize Spectrum software for various accounting tasks (training will be provided)• Manage data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for various administrative and reporting tasks• Contribute to the construction accounting processes by providing accurate and timely financial information• Handle invoice processing tasks, ensuring all invoices are accurate and paid on time• Conduct account reconciliation tasks to ensure all financial records are accurate.
