Overview
Maintain precise Payroll, Attendance, and FileMaker database Personnel records (at Eden Foods and with Paylocity) so they may be reliably, efficiently, and accurately used by Company management and Paylocity.
Oversee the painstakingly accurate and timely payroll processing for the Company and its employees.
Duties and Responsibilities
A. Become a dependable focal point for all facts about payroll processing and FileMaker personnel records for all divisions and Departments of the Company.
B. Immediately, upon duly authorized developments, create up-to-the-minute, up-dated completed personnel database, attendance documentation, and payroll records.
C. Ensure that paychecks and other remunerations are accurately and timely dispatched to employees.
D. Having competent, thoroughly trained, and reliable 2nd and 3rd person backups for these processes and systems is a key function of the position and requires No. 1's oversight of the training for the backups.
E. Work with Department Managers in the allocation of paid time to employees and other issues related to payroll as they arise.
F. Aid in the preparation of accurate company and management reports with the use of properly confirmed source data.
G. Assist Accounting Team with additional projects and responsibilities.
Job Requirements
1. Accounting Degree or 3 years equivalent experience preferred
2. Communication skills, verbal and written
3. Proficient knowledge of Excel, Word and Eden’s software programs or willingness to learn quickly
