The Market Manager (MM) role is a key level leadership position reporting to the DVP with profit and loss responsibility for the assigned branch operations, with specific responsibilities for: (i) ensuring the company's branches operate consistent with RoadSafe's safety standards and continuously improve worker injury incident and motor vehicle accident rates; (ii) providing outstanding service to the company's customers; (iii) driving top decile profitability and returns on invested capital; (iv) improving the growth trajectory and profitability of acquired businesses, thereby fulfilling a core tenet of the company's strategic plan; and (v) being a thought leader for the other members of the Leadership Team and representing the company to outsiders.
RoadSafe is a branch-based services and distribution organization that leverages central management to support local operations and enable scale. The MM provides day-to-day oversight of the assigned branch operations, with its Branch Managers, Operations Managers and/or Project Managers as direct reports. The MM will work within a state and may oversee three to five branch locations. There will be considerable travel for this role to respective branch locations.
As one of the district leaders, the MM has a meaningful impact on creating and maintaining a healthy organizational culture within both their own function and throughout the company. And finally, s/he must have a solutions-based approach and demonstrate a result-oriented attitude and do whatever it takes to help the company and its employees achieve greatness in both the present and future.
