- Be the primary customer contact at the day-to-day level during a rental engagement and maintain efficient communication with customers.
- Manage the dispatch of all equipment and activities of the drivers for the branch.
- Assign equipment and/or operators so that the most economical and quickest methods are used.
- Create work tickets in TCR, assign to the appropriate driver, and audit/approve completed tickets.
- Review and prepare weekly payroll and utilization reports.
- Strive to continuously improve the level of company profitability, understanding the impact of rental transactions and labor efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to Company policies for managing the rental equipment fleet, including oversight of paperwork accuracy and timely completion of all rental fleet activities and reporting.
- May assist in the coordination of rental fleet Cycle Counts and Physical Inventories.
- Coordinate equipment transfers between divisions as needed to meet customer demand.
- Additional responsibilities as directed by Branch Manager.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Prior experience in Dispatching is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products is essential.
- Great communication skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
