Job Description

• Travel to customer’s site to perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment
• Inspect machine function, fluids, and operation
• Maintain efficiency levels of at least 80% billable time
• Report findings to service management
• Model safe work habits and always abide by all safety policies and procedures
• Maintain service truck in working condition and keep it clean
• Exhibit a professional appearance and demeanor with customers, managers, and colleagues
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications and Experience

• Holds basic mechanical knowledge covering oil changes
• Basic computer skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
• Detail oriented
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• Must provide your own hand tools required to perform work efficiently
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English

• Ability to carry, push, and lift up to 60lbs
• Ability to climb and stand for extended periods of time
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain, dust, and dirt)
• Travel as assigned for training or to perform work at other locations, overnight stays when required

• High school diploma or GED
• Heavy equipment repair experience or combination of technical training and field experience, Komatsu and/or Takeuchi experience preferred.
• Experience driving a Class 4 or higher vehicle
