Road Less Traveled Agency is a nonprofit organization focused on tackling LA’s biggest social issue – homelessness. A recent study found that more than 50% of Americans are one paycheck away from becoming homeless.

Our mission is to help homeless individuals get back on their feet by providing a source of income and a safe space to share their stories and life experiences.

We are looking for:

• Must be 18 years old and older
• Individuals experiencing homelessness
• Comfortable speaking in front of groups of people
• Comfortable standing or walking for extended periods of time
• Must NOT have a criminal background
• Bilingual is a plus but not required
• Must be in proximity to the Greater Los Angeles area

Duties:

• Share real stories and insights about the homeless experience
• Conduct guided tours of various attractions, landmarks, or historical sites
• Provide informative and engaging commentary to educate visitors about the location
• Ensure the safety and well-being of tour participants throughout the tour
• Answer questions and provide assistance to visitors during the tour
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with guests
• Coordinate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of tours
