To help facilitate our expanding business, RMS Energy is currently seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to join our dynamic and fast-growing team. Our senior technicians lead and perform testing, maintenance and repair of low and medium voltage circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, motor control and other electrical apparatus in the shop and in the field. This role will also support engineering design projects in the fashion of wiring/testing/commissioning relay and switchgear upgrades. Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of related experience in power plants, industrial services, primary power distribution and related protection and control schemes.
• High school diploma or GED; associate degree in electrical engineering technology preferred.
• Licensures and Certifications: NETA 2, 3, or 4 preferred.
• Experienced utilizing Power DB to accurately and consistently document is a plus.
• Previous experience testing electro-mechanical and solid-state relays and meters is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, business acumen, management ability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and all necessary equipment.
