RLM Underground was established in 2016 and specializes in underground telecom construction projects throughout the Midwest. RLM has rapidly grown at staggering rates leading to expanding its construction and operating capabilities into being a full-turnkey telecommunications contractor. Over the years, RLM has expanded its operating region, opening offices in Central Kentucky and Central Illinois while focusing on smaller Telco providers throughout those regions.
Position Summary:
RLM Underground is looking for a motivated and experienced Telecom Construction Manager who can hit the ground running in northern Wyoming. The CM will be responsible for construction sites and employee and crew safety. The CM must be experienced in both underground and aerial telecommunications, construction, and management. The goal is to ensure that all customer needs are being met. This is a full-time position for long-term employment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversees construction sites ensure a high level of quality and safety.
- Responsible for customer and homeowner relations.
- Assists customers and homeowners with complaints and restoration concerns.
- Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved documents and procedures.
- Ensures that the project is completed in a timely, efficient and safe manner.
- Lead and direct ground crews daily.
- Develops redline and daily reports.
- Responsible for procurement at job sites including straw, seed, cutters, shovels, batteries, tarps, paint, etc.
- Monitors schedule updates.
- Maintains cleanliness of job sites, company equipment and vehicles.
- Daily inspections of company vehicles, equipment and job sites.
Job Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $75K - $90K with opportunities to earn production bonuses following a 90-day introductory period.
Requirements
Must have qualifications:
Must haveknowledge of telecom construction technology.
Must have both aerial & underground telecom construction & management experience.
Experience with risk assessment/management.
Able to enforce & follow administrative policies and procedures.
Strong leadership skills.
Effective communication skills, both written & verbal.
Not required, but helpful qualifications: Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking ability.
