**Job Description:**
As Independent Freight Sales Agent, your role is crucial in bridging customers and freight carriers, ensuring smooth, efficient, and cost-effective freight transport. Utilize your industry know-how, negotiation prowess, and sales expertise to foster relationships, drive new business, and boost RTC's freight logistics services.
**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Develop new client relationships within the freight market.
  • Negotiate pricing agreements to ensure competitive rates, service quality, and profitability.
  • Manage freight shipments end-to-end, resolving any logistical challenges.
  • Collaborate with operations to enhance supply chain processes.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with clients and carriers.

  • Achieve sales goals and adhere to performance metrics.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of sales and prospecting activities.
**Qualifications:**
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in freight sales or logistics.
  • Strong understanding of the freight/transportation industry.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
