Job Summary:

The New Business Agent is responsible for engaging with customers, building rapport, understanding their needs to overcome objections in order to drive sales and meet individual and company performance goals and quotas. The New Business Agent manages a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, introducing and educating potential customers about our products and services in order to close sales and meet targets in a call center environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business by engaging with potential customers via phone, voicemail, email, and text to provide them with relevant information about our lending services and utilize compelling persuasion techniques to close sales.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets through effective sales techniques, objection handling, and follow-up strategies.
  • Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of our lending products and services, including their features, benefits, and competitive advantages, to effectively educate customers and address objections or concerns.
  • Verify loan application details and gather additional or clarifying customer information as needed in order to process the customers’ loan application.
  • Utilize strong communication, effective negotiation techniques, persistence, and persuasion skills to overcome customer objections and close sales with resilience and professionalism.
  • Listen actively and empathetically to customers' inquiries, concerns, and objections, addressing their needs professionally to build trust and rapport.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times and provide every customer with an exceptional experience throughout the entire sales process, adhering to all company processes, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ensure strong attention to detail when reviewing and entering customer data at high level of accuracy and maintaining a high level of productivity throughout the day.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and remain informed of evolving industry trends, sharing best practices to contribute to a positive and cohesive team environment.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or call center environment is beneficial but not required. Training will be provided to suitable candidates.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Extremely reliable and dependable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you will be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The starting hourly rate for this job is $18.00 per hour.
