Job Summary

Rivia Mind is looking to grow our Psychiatry team. We are seeking a Psychiatrist who enjoys providing quality patient care, clinical guidance and multi-disciplinary collaboration. Our practice supports a philosophy of care that leverages a holistic approach to treatment. This role will utilize diverse Psychotherapy and Psychopharmacology methods to provide quality care.

Job Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and develop curated patient centered treatment plans
• Provide appropriate Psychotherapy practices that leverage various modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, etc.) with proper Psychopharmacology prescribing practices
• Appropriately prescribe medication prescriptions & refills considering best judgement of the patients wellbeing
• Provides clinical support & counseling to diverse patient populations in a tele-health environment
• Curate comprehensive patient-centered treatment plans and provide resources as needed
• Provide clinical guidance and valued input with patients and peers
• Provide services to a diverse demographic of patients with an average caseload of 50 patients per week / around 10 per day (Caseload numbers may vary based on clinical judgment, patient needs, etc.)
• Participate in and support routine and ad-hoc clinical-wide meetings and internal trainings to foster an engaging and continuous learning team environment
• Be an ambassador of Rivia Minds culture by exemplifying our values and working with our mission at the forefront
• Comply with clinical standards and adhere to timely and thorough session note documentation
• Promote a friendly work culture that encourages a fun, collaborative, and co-learning environment that benefits individuals well-being, self improvement and potential
• Provide support to Psychiatric Supervisors as needed for coverage and other administrative tasks
• Perform other related role and team function duties as assigned by department and group leaders

Qualifications

Required Education Level: Doctorate

Education Details:

• Earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited school
• Completed a Psychiatry residency program, completing diverse rotations including Primary Care within the training program
• Additional residencies appreciated are: Neurology, Internal Medicine, and Obstetrics-gynecology

Licensure/Certification Requirements

• Active and in good standing license for at least one of these states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, or Massachusetts as a Medical Doctor
• Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine and DEA number for at least one of the states listed above
• Board certified in Psychiatry

Additional Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

• One or more years of post-residency clinical work experience in Psychiatry
• Confidently and efficiently document concurrently within patient sessions
• Proven experience and desire to support Psychotherapy treatment
• Psychotherapy Modality experience (CBT, DBT, etc.)
• Prescribes Medications
• Experience working with Patients in an Outpatient setting
• Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills
• Telehealth/telemedicine experience
• Patient Education
• Diagnosis and Treatment Planning
• Electronic health records (EHR) Software
• Proficient with utilizing diverse technology platforms and systems (Google Suite, company wide platforms/software and EHR platforms when applicable)
• Intermediate computer skills and technical aptitude required

Compensation & Employment Details

Pay Range: $220,000 to $300,000 base salary

Pay Type: Salary

Bonus Terms:$150 bonus per weekly overage of 50 patients standard. Paid out on a quarterly basis

Work Environment: Remote or Hybrid option in NYC 

Work Schedule: Variable - 40 hours a week - Evenings and Weekend availability needed (partial hours beneficial - such as 4 hours on a Saturday.
