Job Summary

The Application Support Administrator specializes in financial systems and plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation, security, and optimization of our organization’s financial software applications. Expertise directly impacts employee onboarding success, retention, financial processes, reporting, and compliance. 

Job Responsibilities

Workday Administration:

• Provide training and support to team members as needed on Workday applications.
• Analyze and troubleshoot user provisioning, access control, and security within the Workday platform.
• Monitor application performance, analyze and troubleshoot ongoing issues, and assist with testing and implementing patches and upgrades with vendor.
• Collaborate with the finance team to assist with reporting within Workday.
• Collaborate with finance and IT teams to provide support during integration between Workday and other systems as needed.
• Work with customers to test changes and updates, develop additional documentation, and identify changes needed to improve processes.

UKG Responsibilities:

• Admin to UKG product, including HR, payroll, and workforce management.
• Maintain user access and support to UKG.
• Provide training and support to the finance team and other team members as needed on UKG applications.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of UKG application dependencies and workflows.
• Work with customers to test changes and updates, develop additional documentation, and identify changes needed to improve processes.

Great Plains Duties:

• Collaborate with finance and IT teams to ensure seamless integration between Great Plains and other systems as needed.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to financial data, interfaces, and reporting.
• Provide training and support to the finance team on Great Plains software.
• Assist employee teams with UKG application dependencies and workflows.
• Assist in migrating away from Great Plains to Workday
• Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

• Minimum: HS Diploma. Experience with some type of financial software tools such as Workday, UKG, or Great Plains and knowledge of accounting concepts would be a plus. 
• Preferred: B.S. Degree Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Education, Information Technology, Business Administration, or Computer Information Systems.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum: One (1) year of experience using or troubleshooting financial software. 
• Preferred: One (1) or more years using either Workday, UKG or Great Plains. One (1) or more years as a superuser or troubleshooting support for one of these software in an IS department.
