Position Summary:
We are seeking an excellent patient experience coordinator to add to our team of highly trained medical professionals and aesthetic providers. This is NOT an entry-level position. Candidates without experience working in plastic surgery, cosmetic dermatology, or a med spa setting will not be considered.
We are currently seeking a friendly, detail-oriented coordinator with an exceptional sense of aesthetics and a passion for providing excellent client experiences! You should be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to make patients feel valued and important.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule indulgent skincare treatments & our plastic surgery consultations.
- Collect payments for our cosmetic surgeries, spa services, retail products, and insurance co-pays.
- Check-in and out our patients and upsell (if appropriate) products and packages.
- Prioritize scheduling patients and completing work queues in Epic, for our plastic surgery encounters.
- Give the ultimate patient experience, ensuring that our clients feel valued and well-cared for throughout their visit.
- Answer phone calls and respond promptly to emails/texting queries from our clientele.
- Track inventory and sales through our EMR and SaaS.
- Help obtain insurance related surgery pre-certifications.
- Work marketing events and provide social media content as needed.
- Stay up to date on your knowledge of our service modalities and retail product lines.
- Be willing to accomplish other duties as assigned.
- Some evenings and weekends may be required.
Education, Experience and Skills:
- Minimum of a High School Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years working for a med spa, dermatology or plastic surgery practice.
- Assertive ability to multitask & be proactive.
- Cheerful upbeat demeanor and can-do attitude.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer service, sales and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, EMR (Epic), Excel preferred
- Social media savvy & delightful to be around.
- Commitment to continuous learning, staying updated on industry trends.
Compensation Range:
- $20.00 to $28.00/hour
