Position SummaryThe Warehouse Associate will be responsible for using safe lifting techniques, efficiently sorting, handling, loading, and unloading freight from over-the-road equipment, containers, city trailers, and/or straight trucks. Using hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts in the loading and unloading of freight and other job duties as assigned.
Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain stationary for long periods of time and to communicate effectively with coworkers and outside stakeholders in person, on the telephone and via email and other computer-related messaging. The employee is occasionally required to maneuver about the work areas and move/manipulate various objects. This position may require extended work hours and travel.

- Operates all material handling equipment safely including standup forklift
- Working with different departments to meet demands of the business
- Communicating any issues to the supervisor that can arise from loading and unloading
- Keeping up to date with new systems and technology
- Performs all job tasks assigned
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well with a team
- Proficient in attention to detail
- Must be forklift certified
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
