Job Summary The responsibility of this position is to be available and proactive in addressing driver concerns and needs. The capable candidate for this position needs a sharp attention to detail, be self-motivated and be able to find the nuances in similar situations.

Essential job duties include:

• Ensuring CMV drivers adhere to FMCSA & DOT compliance pre and post hire.
• Monitoring driver alerts to ensure continued qualification.
• Reviewing medical situations to determine what follow up actions may be required.
• Renewing and dispersing DOT required permits.
• Reviewing and coaching drivers on forward facing camera captured events.
• Reviewing, coaching, and disciplining drivers on DOT HOS violations.
• Being available for phone calls from our driving partners.
• Proactively coaching drivers in problem areas.
• Uploading and organizing personnel files.

Qualifications

Knowledge, skills & abilities:

Customer Service – Manage drivers and safety related situations; promptly address any incidents that may occur

Teamwork - Balances team and individual responsibilities; exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; supports everyone's efforts to succeed.

Education and/or Experience - HS diploma or equivalent required.

Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of the organization.
