Client Systems Technician for Tier 1 Help Desk position working in the office (normal business days/hours). This position requires mobility to the user locations on and off-site. You will be assigned various help tickets and tasks that will include troubleshooting, maintaining, or installing systems. Duties include support to teleworkers and travelers who use mobile devices and virtual private network access to utilize domain resources. Called upon to identify and provide opportunities to help users do more with technology through computer based-training, one-on-one support, and group briefings. Must be able to work independently and with a team. It is essential to be able to take direction, communicate clearly, perform urgently, be accountable, pursue knowledge, and establish continuity.
Serve as Client Systems Administrator for 200 users at various local offices and off-site locations
- Support Information Technology (IT) fixed/mobile device configuration and maintenance
- Integrate secure and non-secure endpoints enabling collaboration and office productivity
- Maintain system hardware and software by device imaging, repair, replacement, and technical upgrades
- Coordinate and install solutions/upgrades for confidentiality, integrity, availability, and efficiency
- Ensure rigorous patch auditing and application of cyber surety updates, policies, and practices
- Review system reporting for security control adherence within the enclave/network boundary
- Execute life-cycle forecasting and replacement for all End-of-Life and incompatible components
- Maintain device activation, accountability/forms, and services as Unified Enterprise Mobile Manager
- Provision users and complete documentation for new accounts
- Manage device issuance, inventory, and accountability for all assigned IT equipment
- Member of the Disaster Recovery and Incident Response Teams
Minimum of 2 years ofrelated experience with aBachelor's degree OR an Advanced degree without experience OR equivalent work experience
1. Must have or be able to attain/maintain IAT-I DoD 8140 baseline certification
2. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
3. Three years' experience as Client Systems Administrator or related area
4. Proficient in Microsoft client operating systems and office products
5. Familiar with basic Apple iOS activation and settings
6. Must be able to lift 25 pounds
