RMS JOB TITLE: Lifeguard
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
HOURS: Seasonal – Tuesday-Sunday - 10-6pm

JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Lifeguards oversee the pool activities including opening and closing slide, monitoring slide usage, enforcing pool and facility rules and policies, and rescuing swimmers in the event of an accident.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include but are not limited to the following:
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The physical environment requires the employee to work outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. May be requested to work overtime and weekends for special program events.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time. Handle, grasp and lift objects and packages. Reach with hands and arms. Communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word. Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions. Complete all required forms.
