Loft Café Associate

Immediate Supervisor: Loft Community Manager

General Statement of Duties:

The Loft Café Associate serves to promote the Loft Café Menu which includes a variety of hot and cold beverages, breakfast, and lunch items.

Essential Job Functions:

Wash dishes ( 3 sink method)

Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
Proficiency with cash register and credit card verification equipment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Effort % of time spent on this aspect of the role

Prepares and sells customers’ drink or food choice by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques. While adhering to health and safety guidelines as outlined by the Department of Health.

Maintains inventories by replenishing materials and supplies; stocking all café items as needed

Handle transactions on cash register including balancing cash register.
