Manages large, complex projects with considerable resources and high levels of functional integration. Works with project stakeholders to develop project requirements, quality measures, standards, processes, cost estimates, and milestones. Manages project risks, issues, decisions, assumptions, mitigation planning, and change control. Analyzes project performance, performs root cause analysis for fluctuations in productivity, and proposes mitigations or strategy shifts to ensure project success. Ensures adherence to quality standards and client project management processes. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, distributors, and vendors.
Required
1. 7 to 10 years of experience in project management organizing cross-functional teams and staff of all levels;
1. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills;
1. Examples of project successes integrating more than 12 functional areas;
(d) Extensive experience in risk mitigation; and (e) The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Preferred
(a) Knowledge of health insurance and/or claims processing;
(b) Experience leading projects related to outsourcing, mergers, or acquisitions;
(c) Proficiency with organizational change management; and
(d) Working knowledge of application development and database architecture.
