Rivermead is Hiring a Dietary Aide (Health Center Server) Near Peterborough, NH

Base pay starting at $16.34 per hour.

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Servers (Dietary Aide) to join our team at RiverMead. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents in our Health Center are met, providing exceptional dining experiences, and promoting overall well-being. We are looking for part-time Dietary Aides.

RiverMead is a not-for-profit, full-service, LifeCare Community located in Peterborough, New Hampshire. As a full-service community, we offer a wide variety of services and amenities to the residents we serve. We offer our staff competitive wages and excellent benefits, including a retirement savings plan with a 6% match, a very generous paid time off program with a rollover of up to 360 hours and the chance to work in a caring and supportive work environment.

We have a $1.50 per hour weekend differential that runs from Friday at 5:00PM through Sunday at midnight.

As a Health Center server, you will be required to take and deliver orders to residents. Also, you will be required to offer menu suggestions to residents based on their preferences and prescribed diets and answer residents’ queries regarding menus.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain food temperature and quality throughout the meal service

  • Complete menus for residents who need assistance

  • Learn residents' food preferences and dietary restrictions

  • Timely and courteous service and accuracy of meals

  • Assist with setting up and breaking down of functions

Qualifications:

  • Takes oral and written instruction well

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Trustworthy

  • Strong communication skills

  • Minimum two years high school required
  • Experience preferred.
