Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk/Insurance Coordinator. As the first point of contact for our medical office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical or dental office setting and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Duties:

- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor

- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner

- Schedule appointments using medical scheduling software

- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or fees

- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary

- Coordinate patient referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers

- Assist with medical billing and coding tasks as needed

- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies

Experience:

- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office environment is recommended

- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is preferred

- Proficiency in using medical scheduling software (Epic, Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is highly desirable

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
