SUMMARY:

River Valley Power and Sport - Marine is seeking a part-time (approximately 15 - 20 hours per week), year round, Customer Care Receptionist for our Red Wing Marine location. This position is a customer facing position that delivers the best customer experience that River Valley Power & Sport - Marine is committed to provide each and every one of its customers and prospective customers. In this role, you will be the customers’ first point of contact and responsible for delivering excellent customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
• Provide professional and personable greeting at main reception and contact appropriate staff to alert arrival.
• Answer phones in a timely manner.
• Maintain adequate office supplies
• Maintain lobby refreshments by making popcorn and coffee.
• Distribute calls to appropriate person/department.
• Complete administrative tasks as assigned.
• Assist with in-store marketing needs.
• Accounting/end-of-day reconciling.
• All other duties as required or assigned.

EDUCATION: 

• High School diploma

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE:

• Previous Office/Customer service experience
• Familiar with general office equipment
• Organizational skills.
• Display cohesive ability at interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written.
• Self-starter and ability to manage work independently.
• Proficient with computers and phone systems.

SCHEDULE:

The position will be approximately 15 – 20 per week; working 2 -3 days per week. The expected work hours are approximately 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Mon-Fri and 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Saturdays. The days of week may vary. The hours and days may be flexible for the qualified candidate.
