Overview:
We have a casual position available in our Physical Therapy department. This position involves working one to two weekends per month with the opportunity to work additional weekends in rotation if desired and the potential opportunity for weekday hours based on scheduling needs.
Responsibilities:
Direct patient care duties include transporting, transferring, and ambulating patients under the direction of staff therapists and assisting staff therapists with patient care as needed.
Additional duties include performing operational duties as assigned (e.g., cleaning and other clerical duties),
Qualifications:
Must present a friendly, courteous, and caring image. Must speak courteously, clearly, and concisely.
General interest in rehabilitation services (PT, OT, or patient care).
Must have orientation to the hospital and work area. On-the-job training in areas as listed under General Duties. In-service education to hazardous materials present in department and infection control. Must have basic computer, copier, and telephone skills.
Minimum Salary: USD $15.00/Hr. Maximum Salary: USD $21.06/Hr.
