This position is responsible for the operation of the ECT room. Assigns duties to and supervises the performance of other nursing staff. Makes frequent assessments of patients and reports any change in condition to the team leader and/or physician. Secures orders from physician, makes appropriate entries in chart, administers prescribed medications and treatments. Provides nursing care to patients, does patient teaching. Makes out reports and requisitions. Assists in other areas of ECT as needed.
