Mental Health Clinician - Adult Outpatient - Baldwin

The full continuum of River Edge Behavioral Health services provides state-of-the-art treatment and support services for more than 13,000 children, youth, families, and adults annually, who experience mental illness, addiction, co-occurring disorders, or developmental disabilities.
River Edge is looking for experienced licensed mental health clinicians or recent Master's degree graduates in the field of Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Behavioral Health related fields for our Adult Outpatient Center.
Summary of job duties:
  • Performs psychosocial assessments, treatment planning/monitoring, and discharge planning.
  • Provides counseling/therapy to clients requiring complex intervention.
  • Performs commitment determinations and/or executes orders of involuntary commitments.
  • Acts as client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve crises.
  • Refers client or family to community resources to assist in recovery from mental or physical illness and to provide access to services such as financial assistance, legal aid, housing, job placement, or education.
Minimum Qualifications: 
  • Master's degree in a license eligible field. LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, and APC are strongly preferred.
  • Recent graduates with a Master's in a behavioral health field are encouraged to apply if license eligible.
