```Overview```
We are seeking a Commercial Estimator for our commercial glass department. The job includes estimating for public works and private projects. Including take-offs, request for quotes, as well as submittals for storefront and glazing on commercial projects. We are looking for someone with experience working with general contractors and project managers on large projects as well as planning and preparing for future projects.

```Responsibilities```

-Experience in the overall bidding process as well as scouting out potential projects for future bidding.

-Project take-offs, architectural drawings, submittals, vendor quotes.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all milestones are met
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure on-time completion
- Control project costs by closely monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or issues that arise

```Qualifications```

- Proven experience as a Commercial Project Manager in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Proficiency in project management software. Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to negotiate contracts and manage budgets effectively
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and tools (e.g., Bluebeam)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
