Project Overview

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to expert in System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), managing and optimizing deployment, configuration, and maintenance processes for enterprise-wide systems.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Scripting to develop, optimize, and maintain database scripts, ensuring efficient data management and reporting within the SCCM environment.
• Leverage extensive PowerShell scripting skills to automate tasks, manage systems, and streamline administrative processes across various IT operations.
• Apply ITIL incident and problem management principles to effectively handle and resolve service issues, minimizing downtime and improving service quality.
• Provide expert-level knowledge and support for workstation operating systems and networking, ensuring reliable and efficient operation of organizational IT infrastructure.
• Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve complex deployment issues, including software distribution, patch management, and system configuration problems.
• Conduct regular reviews and updates of system administration processes and guidelines, ensuring they align with best practices and organizational objectives.
• Lead knowledge sharing and training sessions for IT staff to enhance team capabilities and improve overall technical proficiency within the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system improvements, ensuring robust and scalable IT solutions.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge in System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), with proven experience in managing complex deployments, updates, and system configurations.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Scripting, capable of creating and optimizing scripts for database management and reporting tasks.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerShell, with demonstrated experience in scripting and automation to streamline system administration tasks.
• Solid understanding of ITIL incident and problem management processes, with experience in applying these frameworks to improve IT service delivery and support.
• Comprehensive knowledge of workstation operating systems and networking principles, with the ability to manage, troubleshoot, and optimize diverse IT environments.
• In-depth understanding of troubleshooting techniques, particularly for resolving complex deployment and configuration issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address technical challenges and improve system performance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the capability to lead technical discussions, mentor team members, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications in SCCM, Microsoft SQL Server, and ITIL are highly desirable to validate expertise and commitment to the field.
