Rite-Solutions, Inc. is a growing and innovative CMMI Level III software and systems engineering company. We are seeking a Senior System Administrator who will work out of our Middletown, RI office.

Who You Are (Job Description):

The Senior System Administrator position requires an experienced senior system administrator candidate with advanced experience in an IT related field including a background in Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and VMware support. Duties include working with the IT and IA staff to support the infrastructure and developer networks, as well as supporting end-user software and hardware needs. The candidate will play an important role in maintaining servers, applications, laptop provisioning, vulnerability management, and onboarding new employees and assets.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and patch all servers.
• Manage Virtual Machine environment.
• Manage Atlassian servers.
• Administer, install, and troubleshoot windows operating systems.
• Configure software and resolve technical problems.
• Perform routine management of backup and recovery services, file, and disk management.
• Support developer network and applications.
• Support end-user related issues and technology needs, including email printing and application services.
• Documentation of policies and procedures as well as end-user guides and training materials.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability and desire to continuously learn and stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

What Qualities and Skills Will You Bring?

• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in windows operating system support
• Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Minimum five (5) years' experience in Information Technology of local networks, telecommunication systems, and security.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft platforms, including Windows 10/11, Server 2019/2022.
• Linux RHEL five years' experience a must.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Administration in a Hybrid environment.
• Expertise in Active Directory Services (GPO, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, Certificates).
• Experience with VMWare (ESXi, vCenter).
• Experience with SAN storage and D2D backup.
• Good understanding of Network fundamentals.
• Strong understanding of DoD security requirement and application of security settings and other commercial best practices such as STIGS.
• Effective written and verbal skills.
• Able to take direction as well as the desire to take initiative.
• Able to work with hands for minor facility repair/improvement needs.
• Position requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret-level security clearance with the US Government.

• Azure/SharePoint management experience
• Good understanding of Atlassian suites
• Create and update detailed documentation.
• Dell PowerStore Storage Systems
• CompTIA Security Certificate
• Experience with Information Technology and Information Security frameworks, including NIST 800-171 and NIST 800-53
• Scripting - PowerShell, etc.
