The Market Development and Launch Manager is responsible for finding and developing new business opportunities, expanding markets, building strong relationships with communities, leading cross-functional fiber deployment teams and achieving high growth. The person in this role will recommend new business development opportunities, launch projects in new markets, and lead a cross-functional team to pursue the long-term goals of the organization.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Identifies and develops new business opportunities.
• Builds and manages relationships with cities and key influencers, customers, partners, and vendors.
• Builds cross-functional teams to guide and nourish sustainable, long-term growth.
• Tracks, researches, and identifies emerging markets and trends.
• Fosters and works to maintain an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company and across all teams and work functions.
• Helps to shape the company’s long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them.

Job Requirements

• 7 years of experience in telecommunications operations, project management and/or relationship management required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• A high level of analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality. Comfortable interacting at all levels of an organization, customers, and all other external stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, solid presentation skills, and proven ability to run effective collaborations.
• Travel as required by projects (up to 30%)

Working Conditions

• Employee remains in the sitting position for prolonged hours. Employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
