About The Role & Team

The Business Systems team leverages data, technology, and processes to support the explosive growth of Amplitude. We partner with leaders from the Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Partnerships, Legal, Finance, and Accounting teams to develop a cohesive company-wide strategy and execute on a global scale. The business systems team is the foundation component of Business Operations that provides the data, automation, and tooling required for scale. 

The Business Systems Intern will be involved in all aspects of systems management, including user and data management, identifying and troubleshooting issues, business process optimization projects, and training/documentation. In addition, you will collaborate closely with the various teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partnerships) to meet the needs and goals of the business. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected! Amplitude is growing at an extraordinary pace, and there is a tremendous opportunity for professional growth in this position.

As a Business Systems Intern, you will:

• Learn to support end-to-end feature and/or system implementations, including discovery/requirements gathering, vendor selection, solution design, build/configuration, QA/UAT, deployment, and training and communication
• Own technical documentation of key initiatives, business processes, and design proposals
• Assist in the management of Salesforce and supporting business systems at Amplitude
• Work with teams across the company to use business systems to drive operational efficiencies

You’ll be a great addition to the team if have:

• Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Information Systems or Computer Science
• Salesforce system administration and/or consulting experience
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in problem-solving scenarios
• Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in team settings
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
