As a Frontend Engineering Intern at Shipt, you'll learn what it's like to work in a full-time engineering department by expanding your technical knowledge and finding creative solutions for common problems. No two days are the same, but you can expect to execute daily technical tasks, create and maintain documentation of internal workflows, and work with other engineers to troubleshoot web/app issues.
Your Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze metrics to drive quality and efficiency
• Work with other team members to ensure that the Shipt experience brings joy to our members and shoppers
• Support your team through encouragement and by example
• Communicate complex ideas and processes, simply and concisely
• Collaborate effectively with a team and solve new and challenging problems

Requirements

• You are pursuing a degree in Computer Science (or related)
• You have a good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms with implementation knowledge
• You have an interest in Web development
• You are interested in learning new technologies

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with React or React Native or Golang
• Familiarity with Web development
• Experience and/or certifications related to web development or Cloud platforms

This is a paid internship opportunity for Summer 2024. Our program will run for 10 weeks, beginning on Monday, June 3, 2024, and ending on Friday, August 9, 2024. Full program participation is required of all interns. Interns are expected to maintain a consistent full-time work schedule throughout their internship.
