Compensation Structure:
Hourly rate: $25.00 plus a $5,000 performance incentive

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming repair and maintenance requests from clients through phone calls and online platforms.
• Assess, prioritize, assign, and schedule repair and maintenance requests based on urgency, availability of resources, and client expectations.
• Dispatch repair and maintenance crews to designated locations promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with repair and maintenance technicians and ensure they are well-informed of job details and client expectations.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Coordinators in the Property Management Division to align repair and maintenance schedules with property requirements and tenant needs.
• Work closely with the Risk Management Team to ensure compliance with safety protocols, identify potential risks, and promptly address any safety concerns related to the repair and maintenance activities.
• Monitor and track all work orders daily to ensure adherence to schedule dates, proactively identifying any potential delays and implementing corrective actions to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of necessary equipment and materials for repair and maintenance jobs.
• Monitor repair and maintenance progress and provide updates to clients as needed.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Project Managers, Maintenance Coordinators, and the Risk Management Team, to streamline repair and maintenance processes and procedures.
• Responsible for the confirmation of work order requirements on all completed work orders along with the communication of such, to Property Management team daily.
• Maintain a professional and customer-centric approach while addressing client inquiries, concerns, and complaints.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or training is a plus.
• Previous experience in a dispatching or scheduling role, preferably in the construction or maintenance industry.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, technicians, Maintenance Coordinators, and the Risk Management Team.
• Proficient in using dispatching software, online platforms, and office productivity tools.
• Flexibility to work on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
• Knowledge of repair and maintenance procedures, terminology, and materials.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Maintenance Coordinators in the Property Management Division and effectively communicate repair and maintenance requirements.
• Familiarity with risk management practices and the ability to work with the Risk Management Team to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in urgent or complex situations.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
